Cards must be debit cards registered in your name. Credit card gambling has been banned in Great Britain since April 2020, and we decline credit cards, and e-wallets funded by credit, at the first step. Pay via Phone, Apple Pay, paysafecard and Neosurf are deposit-only: winnings from those deposits are paid to a debit card, PayPal, Payz, Skrill or Neteller account verified in your name.
Deposits from anyone other than the account holder are not accepted. We may decline, cancel or return a deposit that looks suspicious, ask you to prove that a payment method is yours, and hold deposited money back from gambling until the identity, age and anti-money-laundering checks that apply to your account are complete.
Deposits
Go to My Account → Deposit, pick a method, enter the amount and confirm. A bank or wallet may ask you to approve the payment in its app. Once approved, the money shows in your balance and the transaction moves to Completed.
- The smallest deposit is £10.00 and the largest single deposit is £5,000.00.
- Your account must be verified before the first deposit.
- Any deposit limit you have set is checked before the payment is sent to your bank or wallet.
- We don't charge fees for deposits. Your bank or wallet provider shouldn't either, but check with them if a payment shows as a cash advance.
How your money is held
Before your first deposit, and again on every deposit form, we tell you how customer funds are held and ask you to acknowledge it before the money can be used for gambling. The Gambling Commission rating that applies to us is not protected – segregation of customer funds:
We hold customer funds separate from company funds. These funds are not protected in the event of insolvency: not protected segregation.
Money already staked on an open sports bet is not customer funds for this purpose until the bet is settled. Section 8 of the Terms and Conditions has the full wording, and the Gambling Commission explains each rating on its customer funds page.
Withdrawals
Withdrawals go back to the method you deposited with wherever it can receive money; otherwise to another method verified in your name. Request one from My Account → Withdrawal. Our payments team reviews every request, and most are approved the same working day.
- The smallest withdrawal is £10.00. If your balance is below that, email us and we will return it.
- Once you submit a withdrawal request it cannot be reversed back into your gambling balance. If you need to change the destination, email us before it is approved.
- Once we send the money, card withdrawals usually reach your account in one to three working days; e-wallet withdrawals usually arrive within 24 hours.
- We may ask for more documents before paying out, for example a card or wallet statement if the account details are unclear.
KYC checks
KYC means "know your customer". The Gambling Commission requires us to confirm who you are and where you live before you gamble, and to understand where larger sums of money come from. In practice that is:
- Identity: passport, UK photocard driving licence or national ID card.
- Address: bank statement, utility bill or council tax bill dated in the last three months.
- Payment method: sometimes a photo of the card with the middle eight digits covered, or a screenshot of the e-wallet profile showing your name.
- Source of funds: for higher spending, payslips or bank statements that show where the money comes from.
See Account & Verification for how to upload documents and what makes a photo acceptable.
Transaction statuses
- Pending
- The request has been received. For deposits, we are waiting for the bank or wallet to approve. For withdrawals, it is in the queue for our payments team.
- Processing
- A withdrawal has been approved and is being sent.
- Completed
- The money has moved. A deposit is in your balance, or a withdrawal has left us for your bank or wallet.
- Declined
- The bank or wallet refused the payment, or a limit or check stopped it. Nothing has left your account.
- Cancelled
- A request was stopped by our payments team before the money moved, for example because the payment method could not be verified. The amount stays in your balance and we email you the reason.
Transaction History
My Account → Transaction History lists every deposit and withdrawal with its date, reference, amount, method and current status. Quote the reference (it starts with DP or WD) if you contact us about a payment. Bets are listed separately in My Bets, and casino rounds in Game History.
